Alpha-hydroxyacid or AHA peeling
Substances obtained from fruits, sugar cane, wine, sour milk. These acids have small, water-soluble molecules that are quickly eliminated from the body. Their main property is to weaken the bonds between the cells of the epidermis, sequentially accelerating the natural process of skin peeling.
Commonly used fruit acids:
- lactic acid,
- malic acid,
- tartaric acid,
- citric acid,
- mandelic acid,
- glycolic acid.
Beta-hydroxyacid or BHA peeling
These acids have large, fat-soluble molecules that take longer to be eliminated from the body. They have a prolonged, aggressive effect on the skin.
In cosmetology, only salicylic acid is used.
Chemical peeling course
Peeling is carried out in the form of courses, no more often than 2 times a year.
The interval between the procedures of one course - 7-10 days.
Course volume-3-4 peelings.
The total duration of the procedure - 40-50 minutes.
Immediately after the procedure, a slight reddening of the skin may be observed.
What not to do during the course of chemical peeling?
During the course should not visit the solarium. On the second and third days, slight dryness or peeling of the skin may be observed; these 2-3 days it is undesirable to visit the bathhouse or pool.
