Peeling
Enhances the effectiveness of cosmetic substances, improving their penetration deeper into the skin. Thanks to the exfoliating (exfoliative) effect of the peeling, it “clears” the sebaceous gland outlets, prevents “clogging” of the sebaceous glands or the occurrence of acne. By eliminating the compaction of the Horn scales, chemical peeling prevents wrinkles and makes the skin soft.
Alpha-hydroxyacid or AHA peeling
Substances obtained from fruits, sugar cane, wine, sour milk. These acids have small, water-soluble molecules that are quickly eliminated from the body. Their main property is to weaken the bonds between the cells of the epidermis, sequentially accelerating the natural process of skin peeling.
Commonly used fruit acids:
- lactic acid,
- malic acid,
- tartaric acid,
- citric acid,
- mandelic acid,
- glycolic acid.
Beta-hydroxyacid or BHA peeling
These acids have large, fat-soluble molecules that take longer to be eliminated from the body. They have a prolonged, aggressive effect on the skin.
In cosmetology, only salicylic acid is used.
